1. Who We Are

The Intelligent Virtual Exhibition Platform (IVEP) is operated by Eglobal Digital. We provide a virtual exhibition and networking platform for organizers, enterprises, and visitors. For data protection enquiries, contact: privacy@ivep.io.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account & profile: name, email, username, password (hashed), role, language, timezone, bio, avatar, professional information, interests.
  • Event participation: events joined, participation status, payment records.
  • Meetings & chat: meeting schedules, purposes, chat messages (sender name, content, timestamps).
  • Marketplace & orders: product orders, quantities, payment references.
  • Leads & interactions: stand visits, downloads, chat initiations (for exhibitor lead tracking).
  • Analytics & recommendations: page views, click events, dwell time, session identifiers — used to personalise your experience.
  • AI assistant: queries submitted to the AI assistant within event/stand scopes.

3. Why We Collect It

  • Contract performance: to provide the platform services you signed up for.
  • Legitimate interest: analytics, fraud prevention, platform security, recommendation quality.
  • Legal obligation: financial records retained for 7 years as required by applicable accounting law.
  • Consent: personalised recommendations and marketing communications (you may withdraw at any time).

4. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: retained while your account is active.
  • Deleted accounts: anonymised immediately on deletion request; hard-purged after 30 days.
  • Payment & order records: retained for 7 years (legal obligation).
  • Analytics events: retained for 2 years, then deleted.
  • Chat messages: anonymised on account deletion; room structure preserved for other participants.

5. Your Rights

  • Right of access: download all your personal data from your profile page.
  • Right to erasure: request account deletion from your profile page. Your data will be anonymised immediately and purged within 30 days.
  • Right to correction: update your profile information at any time.
  • Right to portability: your data export is provided in machine-readable JSON format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: disable personalised recommendations in your profile settings at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Stripe — payment processing (subject to Stripe's own privacy policy).
  • Daily.co — video conferencing infrastructure.
  • Cloudflare R2 — file storage.
  • MongoDB Atlas — database hosting.
  • Exhibitors receive lead data (name, interaction type) when you interact with their stand — this is disclosed at the point of interaction.

7. Security

Passwords are hashed using Argon2. All communications are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. Access tokens expire after 30 minutes. We apply role-based access controls throughout the platform.
